Women's tennis falls to Eastern 7-2

BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College women's tennis team suffered a 7-2 home non-conference loss to Eastern University Monday afternoon on the Gladish Tennis Courts.

Christine Daum and Ashley Walsh won their first doubles match as a tandem by defeating Eastern's Cara Degnan and Abigail Stevens in the No. 3 flight, 8-6.

In singles action, Allie Warren posted the Lions' first singles match of the season as she posted a 6-0, 6-0 triumph in the No. 6 flight over Stevens.

Bryn Athyn returns to action with a North Eastern Athletic Conference match against Lancaster Bible College on Wednesday, April 4 at 3:30 p.m. on the Gladish Tennis Courts
