Women’s tennis defeated by Lancaster Bible in NEAC opener

BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College women's tennis team suffered a 7-2 loss to Lancaster Bible College in its North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) opener Wednesday afternoon on the Gladish Tennis Courts.

Christine Daum and Allie Warren earned their first win as a doubles team by knocking off the Chargers' No. 3 team of Kylee McGuinness and Catherine Brewster, 8-0.

Ashley Walsh was victorious in her first singles match thanks to a 6-0 victory in the No. 6 flight over Brewster.

The Lions return to action on Saturday, April 7 with a NEAC match at Penn State Berks at noon.
